Yesterday, Autust 10th 2008 was a great day and a very sad day. Cheryl entered college at Mesa State College in Grand Junction Colorado. The photos show her at home in the packing process of items to take with her. The 2nd photo shows her standing in the parking lot near her dorm as we were preparing to leave. The heart is a wonderful organ of the body, we feel great love for this daughter in a grand way and the influence she has had on us.

Well we did it. Left Colorado on the 7th, spent 7th and a portion of the 8th in Utah visiting family members and cemeteries. Spent one night with Rosamay (Webb) Andereson and two with Curt and Sharon Shawcroft. Took Cheryl to Lagoon on Wednesday. She and Bonnie rode most of the rides. Left Thursday for California and the reunion. It was great. Spent Thursday night with Elder Zufelt's family then Friday and Saturday at the reunion. Left California on Sunday morning, drove to Ely Nevada, spent the night then on home on Monday. In the photos is Bonnie Jean (Ide) /Duncan, Pattty Akers and her Mother, Orella (Ide) Akers. Orella is the oldest living member of our line of Ide. She is 93 years of age.

We Dave, Bonnie and Cheryl are heading out for California on Monday. We will be visiting Ide/Webb relatives along the way and attend the H.I.T. Family Reunion 7/11 through 7/13. We anticipate heading home on 7/14. We will post photos of the trip on our return. Hope all goes well with the children and extended family as we stretch our wings and begin journing around and about. This will be a new experience. We haven't made a roadtrip this far in many a year.

Trip to Palm Harbor, Florida

We went to Florida from 17 to 24 June to visit Barbara, Joe and Caitlyn. Here are a few pictures from the trip. While we were there, we went to Sea World, the beach a couple of times, the LDS temple in Orlando and dinner at a couple of locations (TGI Fridays and the Bone Fish Grill). We also spent a couple of days around Joe and Barbara's home and just visited.

Centennial Colorado Trip

We took a short trip over to Centennial to visit Ross' family and attend the temple on the 16th and 17th of April. We enjoyed the temple and then we visited the Muesum of Nature and Science in Denver.
